About Dr. Stacey Denise

The physician who connected
the gut-hormone picture.

I'm Dr. Stacey Denise, board-certified surgeon and women's longevity physician. I built the Gut Saboteur framework because the gut-hormone connection in perimenopause is real, specific, and almost entirely ignored in standard care.

I'm also a late-diagnosed autistic Black woman navigating this exact transition. By the time I had language for what I'd always sensed about myself, I'd spent years learning to mask it. That's why I built The Neuroaesthetic MD, to give neuroaffirming, nervous-system-first care to the women medicine keeps getting wrong.

The Nervous System Eats First™ isn't a tagline. It's the lens I use with every patient, because stress, hormones, and nervous-system function aren't separate conversations. They're one picture.
